Kitty-Kitty
Hey,
I wrote this program for a friend who thought his family did not want to use the command line. It was designed to automate a few cd making tasks that they did over and over.
The main idea of this program is simplicity and speed (ease of use). It will never be feature rich. There are plenty of feature rich programs out there.
This program is writen in GTK-Perl and is a frontend to programs like mpg123, mkisofs, and cdrecord. All the cd burning is done by piping commands straight to cdrecord; no intermediate image is made. This means it may not work well with slow computers.
The program is named after my kitty, who's real name is Solo Vino, cause he was a stray, but we just call him Kitty. He almost died 3 weeks ago from a bad infection, but he is fine now.
